Martin Luther King Jr. Day
I'm not sure I have anything to add to the many panegyrics written about Dr. King. As a fellow minister of the American Baptist Church I feel a kinship, a connection to this man and his legacy. We have come far in the civil right struggle since the March on Washington, but not far enough. I wanted to post a link to his "I Have a Dream Speech", the best sermon I have ever heard. Do listen again to this inspiring and challenging sermon, I guarantee that that there is a lesson for you to learn today. And to think he was only 34 when he preached it. And he was killed before he was 40.
